City College of San Francisco led 41-31 after 20 minutes but San Diego City came back strong to snag a 79-77 victory Saturday up in Livermore. The border crew now moves on to the championship game on Sunday.
Zach (Berkeley High) Copeland bounced back and finished with 28 points for the Rams, Armani (Stuart Hall High/Portland State) Collins produced 15 points plus eight boards and Kendall (Freedom High) McIntosh contributed 10 and five.
The Rams committed eight more turnovers than the Southlanders and were out-scored in the paint 44-22.
