UC San Diego edged Cal Baptist 84-80 on Saturday in an NCAA Division II Men's Basketball West regional semifinal held in La Jolla. Chris (Campolindo High) Hansen produced 17 points and five rebounds for the victors while Michael (El Camino High) Smith finished his college career by scoring 39 point for CBU. He shot 11-18, 5-9 and 12-17 respectively.
