2017 Bay City Basketball

"Hello, my name is Matt Durell and I am the Director of Bay City Basketball and the head coach of our 16u Select team (2019).

I wanted to update you on our 2019 team which is attending college viewing events in the next few weeks in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. Please contact me for any more info on any of our guys.  We have some excellent prospects on this team.

Bay City 16u Select (San Francisco) will be participating in the following events for the Spring NCAA Evaluations.

April 21-23 - Nor Cal Live Showcase - NB Courts and Las Positas College in Livermore, CA
run by The Hoop and James Johnson

April 28-30 - Oregon Open Run Spring Showcase, Beaverton Oregon

We are 10-1 so far this season with highlight wins over Soldier Nike EYBL, Chuck Hayes, SF Rebels, SD Soldiers and Splash City.

* Explosive lengthy phenomenal two way guard - Can attack and finish with both hands.

* Zach Johnson #35 6-5 Forward - Lick Wilmerding High School

* Dominant rebounder and defender.
* Averaged double double during epic post season run in D4 state playoffs with Lick.
* Can handle the ball and make decisions, excellent passer out of double teams.

* High IQ player that can guard any position and has a ridiculous motor.
* Huge hands, arms, strong frame and great leader.
* Iimproving shooter to three point range. Excellent student with the full package.
* High Academic or D1 potential

* Great positional defender, strong frame that runs the floor well

* Good Shooter with range out to the three-point line
* Runs the floor well and competes inside on defense and for rebounders.
* Great potential and long frame.
* Great student and kid
