The Fresno Bee has the latest on Tyler (St. Francis High) Johnson's ankle injury. He has been the most consistent Bulldog backcourter this season.

Fresno handles Sonoma

As expected, Fresno State handled visiting Sonoma State 89-64. Tyler (St. Francis High) Johnson scored a career best 25 points for the Bulldogs and the Seawolves were led by guard Will (El Camino High) Olsem's 13 points.

UCLA over the Bulldogs

Host Fresno State fell to UCLA last night 91-78 although Tyler (St. Francis High) Johnson led with 16 points and five assists. He shot 4-5 from three-point range.

Irvine over Fresno State

UC Irvine went into Fresno and grabbed a 58-51 victory over the Bulldogs. Will (Sacramento High) Davis scored six points and blocked a pair of shots but owned the boards with 15 rebounds. Also for the Anteaters, Chris (San Ramon Valley High) McNealy led with 13 points.

Tyler (St. Francis High) Johnson didn't shoot well for the hosts (1-8) but finished with 10 points (8-8 at the foul line), seven boards and three steals.

Johnson paces Fresno State to victory

Visiting Fresno State took down Long Beach State 64-59 paced by a career best 19 points from backcourter Tyler (St. Francis High) Johnson. He shot 8-14 overall, 3-6 from long distance.

Pappageorge leads Long Beach State

Peter (Burlingame High/CaƱada College) Pappageorge scored a team-leading 23 points to lead Long Beach State to a 69-61 Sunday victory over host Fresno State on Sunday. The senior backcourter shot 6-10 overall, 4-8 from long distance and 7-7 at the foul line.

On the flip side, Jerry (Sacred Heart Cathedral) Brown went for nine points plus eight boards for the Bulldogs. Tyler (St. Francis High) Johnson added 10 points.

Fresno five better than Pacific

Fresno State got by visiting Pacific 66-61 in a game that was tied at half time.

Tyler (St. Francis High) Johnson scored 10 points and grabbed a trio of rebounds for the Bulldogs while teammate Jerry (Sacred Heart Cathedral) Brown posted eight points, three blocks and a pair of assists.
