Monterey Trail boys basketball coach Ken Manfredi calls summer high school basketball "a mixed bag."
But it's clear he has something going with the Sheldon-Trail Summer Jam Tournament that was held last weekend at Sheldon, Monterey Trail and Valley high schools.
The event, which is in its third year and expanded from 40 to 50 teams, might grow even bigger next season and include Cosumnes River College as a playing site based on this year's success...
