JT Adenrele 6-foot-6 F Oakmont (2011) E-Time Hoops: In a very workman like performance, Adenrele showed why he is one of the prospects on the rise this summer. He has a really good frame right now and the build to add more strength once in college. One area of his game which was very good on Friday was his passing from the high post in tallying three assists and a handful more that could have easily been made shots. He also does a good job of obtaining post position and making quality moves once he gets the ball. The Oakmont forward doesn't take many jump shots and could make a dynamic power forward in the right spot.Go here for the full article (a sub is required) -- a very good read containing other player evaluations.
Robert Duncan 6-foot-3 G Granite Bay (2011) E-Time Hoops: While he isn't flashy, Duncan is a solid guard who impresses each time we have seen E-Time Hoops. Duncan finished with 20 points against Abyssinian Crusaders through an array of three pointers and finishes near the rim. He is a good ball handler and has active hands on defense to be a two-way guard. Quickness though is the question for Duncan as he tries to build on a little early recruitment.

I've watched this kid play. I believe he is as quick as a point guard needs to be in a team orientated offense. He'll be playing division 1 next year and there will be a lot of couches wishing they wouldn't have slept on his speed.
ReplyDeleteI was very pleased with Robert Duncan's game. He's a winner and doesn't like to lose. I really believe he'll be playing division 1 Basketball next year and starting at shooting guard. But with his ability to play point or shooting guard. He'll be tough to keep off the bench. Don't sleep on this one.
