This weekend's 6th Annual City Championship Tournament

The 6th Annual City Championship Tournament is taking place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday and features 48 teams.

12 games will take place on Friday evening featuring City and Bay Area squads -- the remainder of the matchups are scheduled for Saturday (42) and Sunday (24).

The majority of the games will be played at the City College of San Francisco Wellness Center, at 756 Ocean Avenue.

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be some games (mostly 16s and mostly consolation games) at the nearby Excelsior Boys and Girls Club located at 163 London Street.

Note on Saturday that CCSF charges $4 to park in the back lot below the football field but the parking is abundant. It is possible to park on neighboring streets for free.  The Balboa Park BART station is two blocks away across I-280. Also, if you are coming from the North Bay or north side of the City note that the Bay to Breakers Race is on Sunday (5/19) and typically slows traffic through the City so plan your route in advance and take into account a longer travel time.
