Pepperdine proved to be three points better than host UC Riverside last night, winning 69-66.

For the victors, Brendan Rocklin High) Lane finished with 10 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. Amadi (De La Salle) Udenyi also started but played just four minutes.

For the Highlanders, Taylor (Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep) Johns produced 13 points (5-8 shooting) plus four boards while fellow frontcourter Lucas (Piner High) Devenney finished with 10 points on 5-5 from the floor.
