Columbia’s nine-point halftime lead evaporated into a 93-83 loss to Feather River in the consolation final of the 35th James Clark Classic at Cosumnes River in Sacramento. The Claim Jumpers (4-3), who went 1-2 with a win over Alamada in the tournament, will return to Oak Pavilion for their home opener Tuesday against the William Jessup junior varsity.

* Modesto Junior College 90 - College of the Redwoods 77

Josh Allen, the Pirates’ 6-7 forward, dominated with 32 points, 16 rebounds, five steals and four blocks during Modesto’s 90-77 win over Redwoods for the consolation title of Mendocino’s John Hogue Memorial Tournament. Allen earned an all-tournament selection for the Pirates (3-3), who also featured guard Eric Melgar with 18 points (all in the second half) and eight assists. Anthony Hubbard had 17 points and Keegan Sanchez 10 for the Pirates, who rallied from a 35-34 halftime deficit.

* Napa Valley College 81 - Porterville Junior College 64 Boxscore


* Cabrillo College 67 - American River College 62

From the CC Men's Basketball site: "The Cabrillo College Seahawks improved their record to 3-2 on the season by defeating American River College (Sacramento) in overtime by a score of 67-62. Warren Jackson led the Seahawks with 12 points, 11 of which he scored in overtime. In all, seven Cabrillo players scored seven or more points, with A.J. Wright and Latrell Wilson scoring nine apiece. The Hawks advance to the consolation championship game against Merrit College (Oakland) at noon Sunday. "
