It was Humboldt State just getting by Pacifica, 80-78, last night way up in the redwoods. Out of Eureka High, freshman frontcourter Will Taylor scored 14 points and corralled eight rebounds for Lumberjacks.
One element that contributed to the closeness of the matchup was 1-24 shooting from long distance for HSU.
