Cabrillo's Warren Jackson

Warren Jackson is listed as a 6-foot-1 freshman backcourter at Cabrillo College and he is the leader Seahawks scorer at 16.3 points per game. Jackson is shooting 48%, 35% and 71% on the season respectively as well as providing 3.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds per contest.

Out of Detroit, Jackson suffered an injury six games into the 2012 season and missed the rest of the Cabrillo's schedule. In fact, he tore his meniscus and partially tore his medial collateral ligament in his right knee so it was quite the serious setback. Jackson was granted a medical redshirt year, hence his freshman status.

So he has made it back and, based on his production, is healthy again.

It will be interesting to find out if he has earned the academic credits necessary to transfer to DI (because that's where he is headed) after this season or if additional time will be needed.
