A few quick thoughts from the NCAA semi-final games

* It certainly looked like Florida was going to win going away very early on, leading 16-4 before Connecticut woke up. What changed so dramatically?

* It was amazing to learn that Gator guard Scottie Wilbekin is a senior because he got schooled last night -- 2-9 shooting, one assist, three turnovers -- despite being the SEC Player of the Year. Looking it up, he shot 40% overall this season which is a bit mystifying in lieu of earning such an honor.

*  Wisconsin is rightfully lauded for its fundamental play but irony took two big bites last night at the 3:16 and 2:36 marks in the second half when the Badgers committed turnovers.

* Do give Marcus Lee all the credit he deserves for his play of late -- call him the Human Highlight Film (move over Dominique Wilkins). Now, pack some pounds on in order to develop a back-to-the-basket game.
