Max Hooper has committed to Oakland University in Michigan.He will be eligible to play right away since he is graduating from St. John's.
Oakland, members of the Horizon League, has been involved in recruiting Hooper for some time. The Golden Grizzlies are losing Travis Bader, who broke the all-time NCAA record with 504 3-pointers made, to graduation.
