Two northern California-connected talents made an impression at UC Riverside this season.
As a sophomore, Taylor Johns averaged 12.0 points and a team-leading 7.8 rebounds a game in 2013-14, shooting 53% and 60% respectively. He led the Highlanders in blocked shots with 72. Johns averaged 32 minutes in 31 contests, with 29 starts.
As a senior, Lucas Devenney averaged 3.6 points and 3.7 rebounds a game in 2013-14, shooting 62% and 71% respectively. He averaged just under 15 minutes in 31 contests, with 12 starts.
