...Blackwell is one of two recruits from the state of California, a 6-1 point guard that is entering his fourth season as a varsity starter with Woodcreek High School. A three-time All-Sierra Foothill selection, Blackwell was rated as the No. 28 recruit in the state of California, and was selected for the two major all-star showcases in the area, the NorCal Clash and the Sacramento 50 Elite.

"...Noah also brings a different skill set to the position," said [Long Beach State Coach Dan] Monson. "Noah can really score the ball, keep defenses honest with his jumpshot, and he will be a good defender."
