Contra Costa College Men's Basketball: "The Comets pushed their winning streak to 7 games with an 81-71 victory over Mendocino College. The Comets defense was the key as they swiped 15 steals as a team leading to many fast break opportunities. G Anthony Sullen led the Comets with 18 points and 6 rebounds while F Larry Wickett added 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. F Jeremiah Alston added 11 points and 5 rebounds. The Comets' record now stands at 18-6 with a 7-1 mark in the Bay Valley Conference that has them in first place... GO COMETS!!!!"
