Merritt 89, Napa Valley 71

Host Merritt College jumped out to a 45-26 halftime lead on the way to defeating Napa Valley College 89-71 on Wednesday. Tyrell (El Cerrito High) Alcorn's 22 points led the Thunderbirds with Lamont (St. Joseph-Notre Dame) Banks contributing 16.
