A bit more on Noah Allen

John Devine: "The former Palma sharpshooting guard has transferred from UCLA to Hawaii, where the senior will be eligible to play immediately after graduating in three years at UCLA.

The 6-foot-6 Allen played in 24 of the Bruins 32 basketball games last season, averaging 6.4 minutes a game. He had a season high six points in a loss to USC.

Because of a series of sanctions handed down by the NCAA, Hawaii will not be postseason eligible this season. Despite the ban, Allen choose to transfer, where he is expected to contend for a starting job..."

A degree in three years at UCLA while also playing basketball -- that is an exceptional achievement. Kudos.
