Braden on the Pacific roster

The Pacific 2016-17 roster has a trio of northern California talents from Modesto Christian High but another team member also deserves some time in the spotlight for making the squad:

Jason Braden, 6-foot, 160 out of Berean Christian High in Walnut Creek.

"2015-16 (Redshirt Freshman):
Suiting up for the first time after a year working on the sidelines for the Tigers, Jason saw action in four games with his first appearance coming at Fresno State on Dec. 12. In the game, Jason would dish out his first career assist while he would score his first collegiate points against Bethesda on Jan. 16. In the game against Bethesda, Jason went 1-for-2 from the floor while adding two more assists to his first-year totals.

2014-15:
Jason spent his first season with the Tigers as a manager for the basketball team before walking on in his second year at Pacific.

High School:
Braden graduated from Berean Christian High School in Walnut Creek, Calif. in 2014 after earning four varsity letters for the Eagles. As a senior, Jason led the Eagles in scoring at 14.5 points per game while also averaging a team-best 3.1 assists and 3.5 steals per game. It marked the second-straight season Braden had led the Eagles offensively as he also paced the team in scoring as a junior averaging 17.9 points, to go with 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. In each of his final two years at Berean, Braden was named first team all-league"
