Dons liking island life

On Friday, San Francisco defeated Illinois State 66-58 over in the islands as Frankie (Burlingame High) Ferrari scored 16 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists minus a single turnover.

In one of the biggest surprises of the season, USF downed Utah of the Pac 12 Conference 89-86 on Thursday over in Hawaii. Both teams lit up the scoreboard in the second half with 51 points apiece.

Shooting 16-28 paved the way for the Dons as did an overall accuracy of 52.5%. 23 Don turnovers were just about cancelled out by 21 from the Utes.

Justin (De La Salle High) Ratinho tallied eight points and Frankie (Burlingame High) Ferrari seven. Each played 22 minutes and the former started.
