On Wednesday in the Allan Hancock-hosted tournament, Los Angeles Pierce edged San Jose City College 55-53.
For the Jaguars, Jonah (Willow Creek High) Underwood was extra large with 26 points, 18 rebounds and three blocked shots. Teammate Jonell (Mission Oak High-Tulare) Burton provided 15 points.
