Thursday: SJCC 78, Cerro Coso 51 (Allan Hancock tourney)

A 44-20 initial half set San Jose City College on a course to defeat first-year school Cerro Coso 78-51 on Thursday in the Hancock tournament. Jaguar center Jonah (Willow Glen High) Underwood continued his string of double-doubles with 23 points and 15 boards and added three blocked shots. Teammate Harpreet  (James Logan High) Singh scored 14 points on 7-10 overall shooting.
