In the end, it was Chico High's triple-pronged attack — Sterling Smith, Kurt Kitayama and Jesse Holmes — that pushed the Panthers past Pleasant Valley in a 73-66 overtime victory in the title game of the 45th annual Pleasant Valley Invitational on Saturday night at Varley Gym.

For Chico (6-0), the championship was the team's second in two weeks, the other coming at the Bella Vista Bronco Classic in Fair Oaks...
