We have no insight into the background of Josiah Turner's current status but mom is certainly not coming out looking good here.
It certainly wouldn't be a first for college basketball, let alone Arizona (or most other bigtime teams), but Coach Sean Miller has to be wondering what kind of phone calls he'll be receiving once Turner sets foot on campus.
If only adulthood guaranteed mature behavior.

Now he is remaining in school.
The Bee reported today that Sacramento High School basketball star Josiah Turner - at the urging of his mother Doris Ward - was set to leave the Oak Park campus this morning and enroll elsewhere. But Dragons coach Derek Swafford said that has not happened.
Turner, a prolific 6-foot-3 guard headed to Arizona on scholarship, is still enrolled and still a member of the team, though his return to the floor remains uncertain, Swafford said...
