"Antonio Johnson had a game-high 17 points, including the go-ahead layup with four seconds left, to lift the Bakersfield College men's basketball team to 65-64 victory Wednesday over Fresno City College in the opening round of the Hancock Holiday Classic.
The Renegades (6-7) led 30-19 at the half and had to withstand a furious second-half rally by Fresno, ranked No. 3 in the state.
Former Bakersfield Christian standout Marcus Hall, who played a season at CSU Bakersfield, had 14 points for Fresno."
