Any person in charge of anything, let alone a basketball coach, should have to explain his reasoning. St. Joseph's, as an institution, fails here, as do the AD and the school president. As for Coach Phil Martelli, yes, absolute power corrupts. Being unwilling to offer the foundation of your decision simply reeks. There's legal and then's there's moral and Martelli is failing in one.
