Jones powers St. Mary's to victory

St. Mary's got the better of Cal Poly, buttressed by the output -- 18 points, 12 rebounds, three blocked shots -- of Rob (Riordan High) Jones in a 59-54 Saturday win.

Jones leads the West Coast Conference in scoring and boarding averages -- 18.0 and 11.5 -- plus is passing for 2.4 assists a contest. He has even gone 9-19 from long distance.
