Coaching truths to live by

Just love these quotes from Oregon's Chip Kelly:
If you are going to stand for something, it is not what you say it is.  It is what people see in your actions.  People should be able to come, observe you, and in five minutes know what you stand for."

"Every coach in this room has a ton of knowledge.  That does not matter.  What matters is what the players know.  Education is the transference of knowledge."

"Do not stop what you are doing so you can tell one player something.  If you do that there are 10 other players standing around doing nothing.  If you want to talk to a player about something he did, take him out of the drill."
