The latest on Lakeshow Pump N Run
From
Lakeshow's Joe Fuca:
What a weekend, we had all five teams play in the Double Pump tourney. Thanks to everyone who helped with all the arrangements. Amazing team effort with vans, food, and laundry, etc.....you are all awesome for helping. Off the court, the boys were awesome with their behavior to the hotel staff, the van drivers, and the restaurant staff. This is very important to me.
On the court, we had some fun too:
* Lakeshow 17 Elite - was 2-2 in the Open Division to run their record to 10-2 for the Spring. Big win in OT over San Diego Pump n run team.
* Lakeshow 17s Black - 1-2 with some tough games on the winners side of the bracket. This team is getting better and fighting injuries every week to key players.
* Lakeshow Seniors - 2-1 with a close loss in the quarter finals.
* Lakeshow 16s Elite - 3-1 - Some nice wins over good teams like Utah Pump N run and AZ Magic to get to the semi finals.
* Lakeshow 16s Black - 2-1 - this team is getting better every time out. Big wins over Utah Pump N Run and SD Pump N Run
Total for the weekend - 10-7
Updates on recruiting:
* Nick Calcaterra - signed a letter of intent with San Francisco State (Division II NCAA)
* Liam Hunt - signed a letter of intent with Hope University (Division 1 NAIA)
* Noah Everly - signed a letter of intent with Pennisula College - a junior college in Washington
