The Lakeshow Elite

The Lakeshow Pump N Run program is fielding an Elite team this spring and summer, one coached by Joe Fuca. The squad is currently 8-0 after participation in two tournaments.

Here are the Elite roster members (alphabetical) with commentary provided by Gerry Freitas after his recent Nor Cal Spring Tipoff event:

* Aaron Cameron, Sacramento High, 6-foot-2, 2013 -- Co-MVP All Metro Conference

* Ali Faruqbey, San Lorenzo High, 6-foot-1, 2013 -- All Hayward Area Athletic League First Team, Chronicle All Metro Honorable Mention, All East Bay Third Team

 "Good athlete who has great body control, very good in transition who finishes around the rim, rebounds on both ends, attack player that can run a team, good mid range shooter, can make open 3"

* Liam Hunt, Drake High, 6-foot-6, 2013 -- Player of the Year in the Marin County Athletic League

Headed to Hope International University in southern California

* Spencer Rust, Monte Vista High, 6-foot-9, 2014-- All East Bay Athletic Team First Team
