The NOR CAL JUCO SUMMER JAMBOREE coming up on July 11-12

This is an NCAA certified evaluation event for four-year college coaches so look for the stands to be filled with such, especially assistants from around the country. A number of DII coaches will also certainly be in attendance.

It's being held on Thursday and Friday July 11 and 12 at Skyline College in San Bruno.

The rosters for each squad may change come November but this will be a great opportunity to see where some of the various northern California high school talents have landed.

  1. It's a little bit of a tangent, but I wonder how the news about CCSF losing it's accreditation will effect this coming year's team? From what I understand the school still has an appeal, but things don't look good.

  2. To borrow a phrase from another element of society, CCSF is too big to fail (too many students, too many employees). Who could bear having that on their professional resume? Something will be worked out.

My understanding is that Coach Labagh's basketball program already has some top recruits coming in and these kids knew of the difficulties.
