The NorCal Wildcats Elite making a showing at Best of Summer

From Scout's Evan Daniels and Josh Gershon after catching the action at the Best of Summer event:
ANAHEIM, Calif. - There were several top West Coast prospects in attendance on Wednesday on the first day of the Best of Summer Tournament. .

2016 Checklist

Colin Slater, PG, Nor Cal Wildcats Elite – Slater, a 5-foot-10 lead guard, played well for the Nor Cal bunch. A quick, speedy guard, Slater looked to get his team into transition, attacked the basket looking to dish out assists and showed off a floater and mid-range jump shot. Slater was a struggle for Idaho Select to defend, as they couldn’t keep him in front, and he showed good vision and passing ability.

Christian Terrell, SG, Nor Cal Wildcats Elite – One of the more impressive underclassman prospects of the day was this 6-foot-3 lengthy guard prospect. He impressed with his ball skills, as he handled well and dished it out to teammates. He’s able to get his own shot, made a mid-range jump shot and also flashed his sneaky athleticism when he tried to dunk on a defender in traffic. He’s certainly a 2016 recruit to keep an eye on...

...Jonathan Galloway, a 6-foot-8 big man out of Salesian (Calif.) High and Norcal Wildcats Elite, appeared to be a high mid-level recruit. He played with energy, hit the glass and completed plays in the paint.

2016 power forward Solomon Young had a solid game for the NorCal Wildcats Elite. He was aggressive in the paint, dunked everything he could get his hands and was physical in the paint...

...The NorCal Wildcats drew a large crowd with Lorenzo Romar, Herb Sendek, Rodney Terry and Craig Neal. Arizona, Oregon State, California, Vanderbilt and assistants from a host of other schools watched as well.
