The Comets won a thriller tonight against Bay Valley Conference rival Solano 77-75. A back and forth game throughout, the Comets trailed 75-74 with 10 seconds left when G Davion Mize dribbled the length of the court and drained a 3 pointer with two seconds left!!! Mize led the Comets with 31 points and five assists, while G Marcel Jones added 12 points, six rebounds, and three blocks. The Comets record now stands at 10-10 (4-4 in Bay Valley Conference) and they are back in action Wednesday at 7:30 PM @ Yuba College... GO COMETS!!!

Tige Wingo had 17 points and Daniel Radford added 13 to lead Columbia College to a 73-71 victory over visiting Porterville on Wednesday night.
Guided by the inside play of Wingo and 6-foot-8 forward Rosendo Amaya Wood (12 points), the Claim Jumpers evened their record to 10-10 and 3-2 in the Central Valley Conference.
Marcus Wood came off the bench to score 10 points for Columbia. Porterville (6-13, 0-5) was led by Jarred White and Ja’Quan Williams, who each had 16.

Andy Arrenquin game reports as Chris Smith finished with 29 points. 49er Floyd Wormley filled the state sheet with 13 points, 15 rebounds plus six assists. David Andoh posted a 21 point, eight rebound line while backcourt teammate Anthony Knight earned a 17 point/11 board double-double.

Fresno City College was nearly perfect in the first half Wednesday, and it led to another easy victory for the state's top-ranked men's basketball team.
The Rams opened up by hitting 18 of 22 shots en route to a 80-59 victory over Reedley in a Central Valley Conference game. Fresno City (21-1, 4-0) was 6 of 9 from beyond the arc and outrebounded the Tigers 16-7 in the first half.
Colton Hafey and Chris Ashanti each finished with 17 points for Fresno City, winners of 18 straight.
Walter Orr led Reedley (9-9, 3-2) with 23 points.

Latrell Wilson scored a team-high 23 points behind six 3-pointers and Cabrillo College remained undefeated in Coast Conference South play with a 67-63 victory over host West Valley.
Warren Jackson added 19 points and Allen Wilcher had 10 for the Seahawks (13-6, 4-0), who return home Friday to play De Anza at 5 p.m.

Arthur Caldwell scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Butte men's basketball team over Feather River 86-80 Wednesday in Quincy.
Jud Sailsbery scored 15 points, Nikolas Petruk added 14 and Jamaal Davis had 13 points for the Roadrunners (15-7, 5-0 Golden Valley Conference).
Butte broke open the game with a 24-11 run to end the half, then built the lead to as much as 62-42 after the break. It was the team's ninth straight win.
