Host Cal State East Bay bested Humboldt State 89-81 on Saturday evening with Gabe Kindred's 24 points leading the way. He shot 8-12 overall, 3-3 from long distance. Backcourt teammate Mark Samuels contributed 17 points plus eight assists.
