Reviewing the NBA D-League draft

In Ed Isaacson's review of the NBA D-League draft, several although not all northern California-connected  names popped up:

* Delaware 87ers: "Former Cal State-Fullerton guard D.J. Seeley is a good scorer and playmaker, especially in the open floor."

* Idaho Stampede: "[Ryan] Sypkens had a down season at UC-Davis, but still hit 41 percent of his three-pointers, after hitting 46 percent his junior year. "

* Los Angeles D-Fenders: "[Sammy] Yeager had some limited D-League experience last season with Texas, hitting 25 of 47 three-point attempts."

* Reno Bighorns: "Santa Clara's Kevin] Foster took on a big scoring load at Santa Clara, but he is a talented distributor and tough defender.

* Santa Cruz Warriors: "[Cal State Stanislaus' Marcus] Bell has a good size and can defend well around the basket."
