In Reno last night, Boise State grabbed a 74-67 victory. Neither team shot all that well -- 41% for BSU to 40% for the Nevada. But the visitors were granted 36 free throw attempts to 15 for the hosts.
The Nor Cal-connected contributors: freshman Paris (Bishop O'Dowd) Austin scored five points in 15 minutes of action for the Broncos while fellow frosh Cam (Grant High) Oliver provided six points, four boards and a pair of blocked shots to the Wolf Pack cause.
Chris Murray game reports.
Dave Southern tweeted:
"Paris Austin has five points, playing as well as I've seen him the last few weeks."
and
"Cameron Oliver fouls out with 4:35 left and Boise State leading 59-47. That's huge - Oliver was Nevada's only spark, and a monster on D."
