ChicoER: "The Butte College men’s basketball team hosted the Simpson JV team on Friday, beating the Red Hawks to the tune of an 88-51 final.

Michael Shoemaker and Travis Stevens each scored 14 points to lead the way for Butte (11-6). Danny Lewis scored 13 points and Vladmir Lazarevic added 11.

The two teams played to a 10-all tie to start the game, but the Roadrunners went on a 21-2 run to take control of the game."
