An earlier article: "June 6, 2015 AUGUSTA, GA-- One of the area's best basketball players has made a new college decision. Butler's Don Coleman was originally signed to Florida Atlantic, but life has given him a different challenge.
Instead, Coleman will be heading off to junior college in the fall.
Coleman will be playing for Lawson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama this year with the full intention of transferring to a division one program for his sophomore season.
Coleman decommitted from FAU last month with the understanding that It wasn't going to work out with coach Michael Curry and the Owls for his freshman season.
Coleman hopes a productive season with Lawson State will provide more scholarship opportunities."
