At home on Friday, Chico State handled San Francisco State 61-50 as Wildcat sophomore guard Jalen (Castro Valley High) McFerren filled the stat sheet with nine boards, eight points and four assists. For the Gators, Floyd (Yuba College/Highlands High) Wormley shot 8-10 on his way to a team best 16 points.
Just 17 foul shots were taken, nine for SFSU.
