On the road in the Southland, Stanislaus State came up short, 59-48, against Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday. Barry (McClymonds High) Bell led the Southlanders with 18 points plus eight boards and Jeremy (St. Mary's High) Dennis contributed 12 points.
For the Warriors, Alek (Turlock High) Carlson was tops with 15 points.
