Down in the county of oranges, UC Irvine handled UC Davis 76-55 on Thursday. The Anteaters led 30-25 at the half. Senior frontcourter Mike Best went for nine points and six boards for the victors and teammate Jonathan Galloway tallied seven and five plus two blocked shots.
Bolstered by 11-12 shooting from the foul line, Josh Fox led the Aggies, who shot just 30%, with both 17 points and 10 rebounds.
