On Wednesday in Pullman, Washington State and Sacramento State battled in a close one before the former won out 74-66. Jiday (Archbishop Riordan) Ugbaja scored 12 points for the Hornets on 4-5, 1-3 and 3-3 overall shooting while Eric (Casa Roble High) Stuteville tallied 11 points.
For WSU, guard Ike (Franklin High) Ireogbu scored 15 points, grabbed five boards and passed out three assists.
