I've never understood why cursing and yelling at a subordinate is acceptable behavior, in any setting. Behavioral therapists will say that such behavior won't produce a desired change. Plus, the yeller doesn't generally take it too kindly if/when the behavioral tables are reversed. Sure, everyone loses his or her temper at times but that's another context.
The coach - player relationship in any sport is no different. Yes, players make mistakes, as do coaches. But name a screamer who invites his staff and players to yell at him when he errs. Ohhhh, that's different.
Give me Brad Stevens, you can keep Frank Martin.
