Two Sac City players head to the islands

Saw this in the Honolulu Star Advertiser:
Hawaii-Hilo signs 2 hoops players

Two Sacramento City College players will join Hawaii-Hilo for next season, according to coach Jeff Law.

C.J. Brown, a 6-foot-2 point guard, averaged 5.2 assists and 7.8 points last season.

Kiel Myers, a 6-8 wing, averaged 15.8 points and 6.6 rebounds.
Here's a report, including video, from the HH athletics site. Brown is out of Kennedy High and Myers from Valley High, both in the Sacto area. Andrew Jones is the SCC coach.

The Vulcans are coached by Jeff Law and finished 16-11/6-6 in the Pacific West Conference last season. Academy of Art and Dominican University are league members so family will have the opportunity to see Brown and Myers play.

Point Andrew (Salesian High) Gipson is graduating, hence the need for Brown.

Additionally regarding other northern California prepsters, 7-foot center Josh (Pleasant Valley High/Yuba College) Figueroa returns to Hawaii-Hilo for his senior season.
