Aaron Hendricks [formerly of Del Oro High) is doing well as a post-grad at nationally ranked New Hampton School in New Hampshire. A star and all-league player at Del Oro, Hendricks transferred to New Hampton for his senior year.Pete Hutchins heads the basketball program at New Hampton. He may be reached at 603-677-3578.
Here is a link to a story on New Hampton School winning the 42nd Annual Mercer Invitational this past weekend. Hendricks was named Most Outstanding Player for the entire tournament
At this point, there are a number of schools interested in Aaron. He has not made a decision yet given the season is young and the team has a number of prep showcases ahead of it.
On the local front, Sonoma State is very interested. I am sure other West coast schools would be too but most West Coast coaches have lost contact with him since he went back east to play in what many consider to be the premiere high school basketball league in the country - The NEPSAC. Here's a link providing comprehensive context on the league and New Hampton School.
That's the update for now.
