Cabrillo College dropped a 71-67 matchup with Cosumnes River College, dropping the Seahawks to 8-3.
In the second half, Cabrillo could not keep CRC off the offensive boards and went down by 15 with 8:32 to play.
The Seahawks then went on a run, cutting the lead to six with 2:58 to play.
Cabrillo later had two wide open three point looks but could not connect and CRC nabbed the victory.
Aaron Short lead the Seahawks in scoring with 18 points. Frank Rogers scored 17 wityh Tyler Velasquez and Thomas Pierce each had 13.
