UTEP and East Carolina paired up in North Carolina and it was the Miners winning by one, 68-67. Now ensconced as a starter, McKenzie Moore totaled 17 points plus eight boards and he went 3-4 from long distance for the victors. Best of all, he hit the game-winning shot:
