Austin Keaton re-discovered

Austin Keeton had a very good year at Modesto Junior College a year ago but then disappeared. While looking for something else (doesn't it always happen that way?), his current location popped up.

He is attending and playing basketball for Culver-Stockton College, an NAIA school in Canton, Missouri and one that finished 26-9 overall and 10th in the nation this past season. Keaton, listed as a senior, played quite well:
Meanwhile, [Austin] Keaton, a 6-foot-2 guard from Turlock, Calif. (Pitman HS / Modesto JC), was a 2013 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I Men's Basketball All-America team honorable mention selection. He was second on the team in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game. He shot 46 percent from the field, including 39 percent from outside the 3-point arc, and 80 percent from the foul line, which was good for 31st in the NAIA.

In addition to free throw shooting, Keaton ranked 16th in the NAIA in 3-pointers made with 84 and 22nd in total scoring with 562 points. Keaton's 562 points this season is the seventh-highest in school history. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
Just found this Frankie Tovar-penned article from January 2013 on Keaton.

Wrote this article on Keaton on February 2012.
