Robert heading to SRJC

Garrett Robert, out of Rincon Valley Christian High, is headed to Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) for the 2013-14 season. The 6-foot-3 backcourter is an excellent passer who can also produce points when called upon.

Here's RVC Coach Darren Nelson describing Robert's best skills in an earlier article: "Garrett sees the floor better than any player I have ever played with or coached. He has an uncanny ability to not only find open teammates after drawing defenders to himself, but also to hit them right where they need it to score. He throws exceptional no-look passes with ease. He is also one of the best midrange jump shooters I have ever seen in high school."

SRJC Coach Craig McMillan annually turns out scholarshipped backcourters (just recently Bobby Sharp, Sama Taku, Lorenzo McCloud, Kevin Aronis) so this looks like a good choice for all the parties involved.
