Bobbitt goes back to the future

Former Castro Valley High Roderick Bobbitt played as a freshman at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa and then returned to the Bay Area -- City College San Francisco -- as a redshirt, where he sat out due to academics.

Now, he has returned to the nationally-ranked school to play his sophomore season of eligibility.

From Indian Hills Coach Barrett Peery: "Yes, he's back with us and doing great!!"

Bobbitt averaged 9.4 points per game when last at Indian Hills, shooting 38%, 26% and 70% respectively. He also passed for six assists an outing and pilfered just under three steals a contest.
